NOT JUST A MAN. A MASON. I think you will agree that our new theme captures the essence and power of what it means to be a Freemason. Let it serve as a reminder of the pride we take in each other—and in ourselves—for choosing a values-filled life of integrity, service, devotion to family, and Brotherly love.

As we move the Scottish Rite on a path forward, I want each member to know that we hear you. We hear the concerns and needs you expressed in the membership study we undertook in 2016-17. Here at headquarters, we are working on multiphased programs to address those issues. This new website is part of that action plan. It is designed to be interactive, content rich, and user friendly to help improve your membership experience.

Sovereign Grand Commander David Glattly

What else did you ask for that we are building?

• An invigorated use of technology and social media to enhance connection between members
• A multi-tiered set of education programs to allow you to go deeper into the craft
• More connection with leadership through webcasts, videos, and livestream broadcasts
• An internal audit to improve member service

While these new tools and programs are exciting and valuable, I want to assure you that the underlying tenets of the Scottish Rite will always be honored. Our vision statement—We will strive to be a fraternity that fulfills our Masonic obligation to care for our members—IS our vision, and will remain that way. We want everyone, members and non-members alike, to know that ours is a fraternity based on timeless values, strong brotherhood, personal growth, and caring for each other.

The Scottish Rite is writing the future. You, our valued member, are at the center of all that lies ahead.

Fraternally yours,
Dave Glattly

From the Desk of SGC Glattly: Join us for the Giving Tuesday Telethon, November 27, 7-9 pm (ET)

As we enter the holiday season, we look forward to giving gifts and bonding with loved ones. Black Friday and Cyber Monday make sure we have the commercial aspects of the season covered. But being a Mason compels us to take a broader view of this season of giving. We see beyond ourselves and look to the good works of our Scottish Rite charities. It’s why we are celebrating Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, with our first ever telethon on November 27th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm ET Read More
