What is a Scottish Rite Reunion?

In 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemasonry, a “Reunion” is a gathering most Valleys hold for members once or twice a year, typically in the spring or fall. At the Reunion, the degrees of the Lodge of Perfection, Princes of Jerusalem, Chapter of Rose Croix, or Consistory are conferred on a class of candidates. The reunion also provides the opportunity for social fellowship.

In response to shutdowns across our jurisdiction in 2020, the Scottish Rite, NMJ began offering a Virtual Reunion option. Our unique, meaningful, and convenient online reunion allows members and approved Scottish Rite candidates to witness the 4° and other Scottish Rite degrees online, allowing them to join our Brotherhood from home. Each Virtual Reunion makes new initiates eligible for the 32°, as the requisite number of degrees were presented on each Virtual Reunion date.
