Dear Brethren and Masonic community,

We are proud to share with you our newest campaign, "Journey On."

What is Journey On and What Does it Mean?

Journey On is about continuing one’s growth as a man and as a Mason. In the blue lodge, we learn the profound secrets and lessons of Freemasonry. For most, it is a life-changing experience driven by self-realization, self-improvement, and spiritual awakening. Men of the Scottish Rite journey on through 29 degrees – degrees that expand Masonic teachings in order to help good men become the most noble versions of themselves.

Our new campaign is designed to not only invoke a sense of pride amongst Brethren, but also introduce blue lodge Masons to our organization. Masons are committed to finding a deeper sense of purpose by exploring the highest principles, teachings, and ideals of our Craft. Our hope is to inspire more men to continue their journey in Freemasonry through our degrees, core values, and sharing fraternal brotherhood with other Scottish Rite Masons.

Seven New Videos

Alongside our Anthem video, Journey On, we have unveiled six additional, new videos. Each video aims to exemplify one of our six core values, showing Masons what it really means to live by the virtues of Reverence for God, Integrity, Justice, Tolerance, Service to Humanity, and Devotion to Country. New Marketing Materials for Personal and Valley Use

Similar to our “Not Just A Man. A Mason.” campaign for Blue Lodge Freemasonry, Journey On consists of print and digital assets ready for personal use or deployment in all 102 Valleys. You can find them here.

That’s Not All: Journey On & The Path Forward

At its surface, Journey On is a campaign to inspire both Master and Scottish Rite Masons to continue their quest for light.

However, at its core, Journey On is an organizational approach to helping men deepen their understanding of the Craft and find self-improvement. It is the next step in our Path Forward, a continuation of our promise to:

Increase engagement with members of the Scottish Rite.
Embrace technology to further engagement in between the times that we see our Brothers in person.
Become a strong and clear voice for Freemasonry, working with all Brethren to attract good men to the craft, and in turn, 32° Scottish Rite Freemasonry.

Alongside a new suite of campaign assets, Journey On marks a new era for the Scottish Rite, NMJ. An era of more light and brotherhood. The Supreme Council has prepared a suite of new programming to enrich your “journey” through the Craft and foster meaningful connections with Brothers from across our 15-state jurisdiction.

We kick off this new era with our third season of Thursday Night at the Rite. Beginning March 3, members who join us online will be presented with new and unique programming. Included in the rotation of degree presentations are brand new performances from various Valleys across the jurisdiction. In addition, we’re doubling down on enlightenment by offering an educational panel discussion following each degree. Now, Brethren can discuss and reflect on the lessons bestowed together online.

Best of all, the light and Brotherhood found at our Thursday Night at the Rite events will be available to accepted candidates when they participate in a Join the Rite Night. These virtual joining opportunities will take place just 30 minutes prior to Thursday Night at the Rite and will present the 4, a requisite for membership. Once candidates have completed a Join the Rite Night, they are welcome to continue their Masonic journey at any Thursday Night at the Rite event following. If you’re not yet a candidate but would like to join our Brotherhood, we encourage you to complete an application.

This is just the start of what is sure to be a momentous period for the Scottish Rite, NMJ. Stay tuned for the announcement of additional initiatives for Scottish Rite, NMJ Brethren - coming soon!
