What is the Grand Almoner's Fund?

The Grand Almoner’s Fund is a charity of the 32° Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, dedicated to providing financial relief and immediate assistance to Scottish Rite Masons, their families, and immediate family members of deceased Masonic Brothers, who face unexpected hardship or crisis. It exists to fulfill the fraternity’s obligation to care for its members during their most difficult times.

You can support the Grand Almoner's Fund in the following ways. Donate — You can contribute directly through the Scottish Rite’s website by designating a gift to the Grand Almoner’s Fund. Participate in giving programs — Programs such as the Commander’s Circle recognize donors who support the Grand Almoner’s Fund at various levels, and other giving opportunities help sustain its work.

The Grand Almoner's Fund is central to the Scottish Rite’s commitment to care for our Brothers, providing assistance to Masons and their families facing unexpected hardships. The program focuses on our Masonic fraternity and assists:

All Freemasons, particularly Scottish Rite Masons within the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction;
Masonic families when a significant, unexpected burden is placed on them;
Immediate family members of a deceased Masonic Brother.
