The degrees are allegorical dramas that explore the great truths of Freemasonry. The degrees also delve into the organization's six Core Values: Reverence for God, Integrity, Devotion to Country, Justice, Tolerance, and Service to Humanity. The 29 Scottish Rite degrees journey deeply into the questions raised in the three Blue Lodge degrees of Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason. 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemasonry™ is often considered the “graduate course” in Masonic teachings because our degrees supplement and reinforce the Blue Lodge in every way. We also encourage our members to continue their education through our Hauts Grades Academy, a curriculum that provides an opportunity for deep study of all 32 degrees.
