Why Become a 32° Scottish Rite Mason?

Scottish Rite of Freemasonry is a brotherhood of men committed to improving themselves by journeying deeper into the highest principles, teachings, and ideals of the Masonic Craft. When you join the Scottish Rite, you'll:

  • Delve deeper into the craft with 29 more degrees
  • Expand your network of fraternal friendships beyond the local lodge
  • Grow your Masonic and Scottish Rite knowledge through exclusive member programming like Thursday Night at the Rite, Hauts Grades Academy, Pathfinder, and more

Our Degrees

Beginning with the 4°, Scottish Rite's 29 degrees expand on the lessons of the symbolic lodge, allowing a Master Mason to further master the tenets and teachings of our Craft.

Presented in the form of allegorical plays, Scottish Rite Masons can choose to witness a degree or participate in the production as an actor or stagehand. Degrees are offered both in person or virtually throughout the year.

Learn more about the degrees at our in-depth degree section.

Our Core Values

Based on the teachings of the Scottish Rite degrees, our six Core Values form a common, indelible bond between 32° Scottish Rite Brothers.

Our Core Values are:

  • Integrity
  • Justice
  • Service to Humanity
  • Tolerance
  • Devotion to Country
  • Reverence for God

Watch how our Core Values can be applied to everyday life in our Core Values video series, part of our Journey On campaign.
