Do You Feel the Call of Scottish Rite Freemasonry?
If you’re a Master Mason living in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction (NMJ) and are looking to take the next step in your Masonic journey, join us.
To become a 32° Freemason, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Become a Master Mason and reside in one of the 15 states that make up the Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
If you are not yet a Master Mason, you can inquire to become one by visiting BeAFreemason.org.
Step 2: Complete Your Application
The application will take no longer than ten minutes to complete. Once submitted, your Valley secretary will review your application and send you more information on the membership process.
Once your application is approved, you are officially a candidate for membership.
Your local Valley will contact you once your application is approved.
Step 3: Witness the 4°
Witnessed the 4°, and you are officially a Scottish Rite Brother! The 4° degree can be received in-person at a Valley Reunion or online during a Join the Rite Night.
Step 4: Journey On to the 32°
To become a 32° Freemason, witness three degrees in addition to the 4°. You are then eligible to receive the 32°.
The requisite degrees can be received in person at a Valley Reunion or degree date and/or by watching a degree conferral virtually during Thursday Night at the Rite. Currently, the 32° is only conferred at your Valley.
The journey doesn't end here. Witness all 29 degrees to further your quest for more light.
