Pathfinder Guide Book Changelog

Below you will find the changelog for each iteration of the Pathfinder Guide Book. This will quickly identify any new/updated Mile Markers, corrections, or updates for general clarity.

  • 2023.2 Updates:

    • Updated Version to 23.2 Release Date: 4/1/2023.
    • Pathfinder Facebook Group QR added to Web & Digital Resource Library.
    • Changed version convention from YYYY.QX to YY.QX
    • Added PF-SI_019 on Pathfinder Facebook Group
    • Updated PF-SI_003, PF-SI_011, PF-VL_023,to shift users to NMJ Pathfinder Facebook Group.

  • 2023.1 Updates:

    • Updated Version to 2023.1 Release Date: 1/1/2023.
    • Improved Guide Book navigation in Table of Contents - Each section starts on a new page.
    • Updated PF-Org_004 for consistency and clarity.
    • Added PF-Org_017 on MSA Award.
    • Added PF-SI_013 to include Blue Lodge related activities.
    • Added PF-SI_014 to include Blue Lodge related activities.
    • Added PF-SI_015 to include Blue Lodge related activities.
    • Added PF-SI_016 to include Blue Lodge related activities.
    • Added PF-SI_017 to include Blue Lodge related activities.
    • Added PF-VL_023 on including a Brother to shadow a duty/task in the Valley.
    • Updated PF-SP_001 to include "or donate to" to be inclusive of those Brothers unable to physically attend a community service event.
    • Added PF-VL_024 to include participation in the presentation of colors at a Valley meeting, event, or reunion.
    • Added PF-SI_018 to include ten research facts from a religion that is not your own.
    • Removed Compass Rose images to reduce space.
    • Section headings are linked back to Table of Contents for ease of Guide Book navigation.
    • Removed duplicate listing from 2022.4 of Org_015/Org_016 referencing official caps. Org_017 (MSA Award) originally listed in 2023.1 will bump down to Org_016.

  • 2022.4 Updates:

    • Program Guidelines (Paragraph 1) - minor additions for clarity on Mile Marker selection and completion being in any order.
    • Updated Waypoint descriptions to include additional clarification on Mile Marker selection and completion being in any order.
    • Updated VL_008 to include Rite on the Road Events.
    • Updated VL_014 for consistency with VL_015 and VL_016.
    • Updated VL_014, VL_015, and VL_016 to include attendance at defined events.
    • Updated SP_001, SP_002, SP_003, SP_005, SP_006, SP_013, SP_014, SP_023 to include associated Core Values.
    • Added SP_024.
    • Updated VL_002 for clarity and including sharing of information with team.
    • Updated VL_010 to add additional duties and opportunities to serve and associated Core Value.
    • Added VL_021 and associated QR Code for Valley of Excellence.
    • Added SP_025 and associated Core Value.
    • Added VL_022 and associated Core Values.
    • Added link to changelog to Guide Book TOC.
    • Added information on Orientation to Essential Gear section.
    • Added information on Orientation to Updating Member Center section.
    • Updated Choice Waypoint description to include additional clarifications on updating Field Book and Member Center.
    • Updated SP_011 to include link to Medals & Awards page.
    • Added SP_025 and associated Core Values.
    • Added Pathfinder Advisors section under Essential Gear.
    • Updated Updating Member Center section to include reference to Pathfinder Advisors and anchor link to Essential Gear reference.
    • Added changelog QR code and url to Web & Digital Resource Library.

  • 2022.3 Updates:

    • Waypoint | Service & Philanthropy Intro: Corrected spelling error "Member Centerr"
    • Added FAQ section to Pathfinder silo on SRNMJ.org
    • Updated Q007 for clarity
    • Added Q0011 "Do Waypoints and Mile Makers need to be completed in order?"
    • Added Q0012 "Can I work on more than one Mile Marker at the same time?"
    • Added Q0013 "How can I see what changes/updates have been made to the most recent version of the Guide Book? "
    • Updated SP_013 to be inclusive of all seasons. Removed "during winter" and expanded on example tasks.
    • Updated VL_008 to include degree rehearsals and KSA/Guild Events.
