Meet the Authors

Linda Patch, Senior Director of Marketing Communications at Supreme Council

Linda Patch’s journey with the Scottish Rite, NMJ, began in 1990 through her marketing firm, Linda Patch & Associates. In 2015, she closed her successful business to join the organization full-time. Today, she serves as Senior Director of Marketing and Communications and Executive Editor of The Northern Light magazine.

Linda’s marketing and communications career spans nearly four decades. She spent 12 years as Director of Marketing and Publicity at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and has worked with clients including Mobil Oil, ExxonMobil, MIT, Bank of America, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, among others.

She lives in Lexington, Massachusetts, with her husband, Keith, a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and member of Simon W. Robinson Lodge.

Brother Len Cercone, 32°

Brother Leonard (Len) Cercone, 32°, is the founder and CEO of CerconeBrownCompany (CBC), a strategic communications agency serving mission-driven brands. He leads the agency’s insight-driven growth approach, combining deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative research with a strong focus on applying insights to create positive change.

Len’s career began in 1987 as a marketing and communications consultant for Boston’s leading nonprofits, including Project Bread/Walk for Hunger and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Before founding CBC in 2001, he was an account director at Mullen Advertising, working with major brands such as GM, Timberland, BMW, and Eddie Bauer.
