In 2016, the Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction commissioned the first of its kind study to explore Freemasonry's relevance in America today in 2016. We reassessed the findings once more in 2024 by surveying 3,500 non-Masons with diverse backgrounds, which reaffirmed the 2016 results.
