Why Join the Scottish Rite?
The Scottish Rite invites Master Masons to continue their Masonic journey, explore deeper fellowship and additional degrees, and find meaningful ways to live their values through service and charity.
More Brotherhood
The Scottish Rite is a circle of men you can trust, lean on, and grow with. Whether at Reunions, in your local Valley (a regional chapter of Scottish Rite Masons), or in daily life, you’ll find Brothers who stand beside you through triumphs and challenges.
More Knowledge
Through 29 additional degrees presented as allegorical plays, the Scottish Rite builds on the lessons of the Blue Lodge and offers timeless insights for modern life. Each degree challenges you to reflect, learn, and grow, helping you see Freemasonry — and yourself — in a new light.
More Purpose
The Scottish Rite lives its values through action. As a member, you can help children learn to read through our Children’s Dyslexia Centers, provide relief to Brothers and families in crisis through the Grand Almoner’s Fund, and support your community and Valley through service and leadership opportunities.
